Ewald The one-armed elf paladin

This is my original character Ewald! I first made him for an OC contest, and I haven't really drawn him since, but I freaking love the idea of him.
Basically, I first made him because I wanted to do some kind of overly exaggerated fantasy character, but I still think he's just such a fun character period. Basically he's an orphaned elf that was rescued by a human Paladin who raised him as his own. The reason Ewald only has one arm is because when he was an infant, a cloud of evil, black smoke swallowed up his home along with his parents and before the Paladin could rescue him, the smoke devoured his left arm
And if you're wondering, "If he never uses his stubby arm, then how is it so toned and muscley?" and my answer to that is that the cap at the end of his stub is gold, and therefore is very heavy, so he developed stub-muscles. so there. Haha.
What I'm really excited about is that I redesigned his sword to be more Paladiny. The sword is named after the Angel Phanuel, who was kind of like an exorcist angel. So that means this sword is used primarily for exorcising demons. The glowing yellow side of the sword is used to remove demons from possessed people, and the other side is a sharp blade to actually cut with.
The yellow thing around him is a Halo. When Paladins use their holy magic, the halo appears around them.
