Tearing apart the very fibers of a Love that could've been.
Something so promising, so free of care or worry
A Wonder filled world, Destroyed without even a 'Sorry'
My life before felt Empty and Bleak
She filled that space with something Unique.
It all felt so much like a whole new life,
Yet it just felt so easy, and just so right,
like it was a sense of belonging,
By her side, with her laugh, her smile, her comfort I'm hanging
On to this memory, that feels like home
Her scent, her eyes, I could never feel alone
Now it's over, but really it's only the start
Against our wills we're being held apart,
We both reach out but it's a distance too far
